Cheap place to live in the US thats usually warm all year

Like the title says I'm looking for a cheap place to move somewhere in the united states that is mostly warm all year around. I am trying to save up some money and buy some crappy trailer somewhere other then ohio.

warm year round places are overrated
The only place that is decent to live in Southern Cali

Go to Texas or Florida and live in the warm weather, you will get sick of it really fast
It's not warm, it's sticky hot and blazing sunlight

East Jesus, Alabama.

Though there may actually be a place called that down here, so...
Just go with "Southern Alabama". The price you pay for cheap/warm is middle of nowhere/longish drives to get to work/etc. Some people like that...I don't.

I'd sell my soul to live in Florida again.

Anywhere in Southern Nevada except the Las Vegas area.
Tonapah, Beaty, Pahrump

They stay pretty warm AND dry which is nice because humidity blows.
I live in Reno, which is North and it gets pretty cold here in the winter.

lol, the only redeeming quality of FL is the lack of state income taxes. Otherwise, it's the giant, sweaty, stinky, festering crotch of this country.

Personally, I'd go to Charlotte NC, not always warm, but not too cold in the winter, relatively cheap housing.

SmashingPumpkins 12-09-2007 05:18 PM

somewhere in arizona or new mexico

i live in charlotte. i love it, after living in boston my whole life, moving down here was the best decision i ever made. for comparison, i have an 800$ two bedroom/two bathroom 1000 square foot apartment, brand new development right near my university (university of north carolina at charlotte) with marble kitchen and tiled bathrooms. couldn't ask for anything better.

also, my apartment is in the middle-range of rents, you can get things for much lower.

Charleston, SC = win.
