Windows 7 authenticity

Apparently mine isn't. I had just built a new comp and installed the new OS a little over a week ago. First personal desktop I've owned and used in years... and now I got a message on my lower right screen saying that my copy isn't genuine. any way I can fix this or am i screwed? Thank you for your time

Purchase a license. Use that key to authenticate, the message will go away.
