What Pistol is my CCW rotation missing?

Honestly i cannot for the life of me decide on this last gun.My goal is a 5 gun collection that are mainly for CCW but can do range duty easily.
3 Main guns and 2 small Backup guns should cover all needs imo.

What i have so far from Large too smallest:
1. Taurus 5" 1911- i carry this 80% of the time as my main carry.
2. Taurus PT745 micro compact .45- Great gun i really should carry it more.
3. ????????
4. Walther PPS 9mm- kinda large for a pocket bug,but works in a back pocket with uncovered tshirt or in any IWB/OWB holster.
5. Sig P238- i cant say enough about how great this gun is,even if it is a .380 its a perfect bug.

I was thinking the PPS would be my second pocket gun and cover my 2 small gun needs, but it could be considered a main gun also.
Thats what makes this hard, due to the PPS not being bug small or Main gun large should i get another small bug or another main?

On top of all this im considering trading my PT1911 off for a compact 1911,But id hate to loose it as its my favorite range gun.But its very large and heavy despite how much i carry it.

1. Buy a compact 1911 in .45 and keep the PT1911.If i do this i wont carry the PT1911 and still be only with 4 guns for ccw,and still buy a 5th.
2. Trade in PT1911 for a compact 1911 and still get the other 5th gun.
3.Buy another smaller pocket gun and make the PPS a main.
4.Keep the PPS a bug and get another large gun.If i do this it should be a smallish mid sized gun or compact in at least .40 or .45
5.One route ive considered is buying a Glock 29 10mm for carry and get a .40 conversion barrel for range duty.I miss my old G20c i had that same exact setup but was too large to carry and 10mm full power loads kick ass.

I really like #5 personally.
I also already have a .22 and i want this 5 gun collection done before i move on too a shotgun and rifle.

Suggest what you think and which gun makes more sense to round out my rotation and also list its caliber. No revolvers please.

NAA .22 Mag fold-up revolver

i'm a glock fan, so a G27 is always a good idea. you seem to like oddball guns though, so how about a Charter Arms .44 Spl. bulldog

I cant see myself buying anything smaller than a .380 for SD.
Is there a size differance in the 27 and 29? i like the 29 so i can carry it with 10mm but practice with .40 with a barrel conversion.
LOL no Charter Arms, let alone a revolver.
I guess i like oddball guns i suppose, but it just that these guns seem to fit me for than what the average buyer likes.

why the revolver hate? just curious. some are much lighter than your other guns. a s&w airweight is light and will ALWAYS fire. the new smith M&P .357 is a bad ass weapon.

Man,i really dont know.
I never see a revolver in a gun store and think "Wow thats Badassed!"
Plus the cylinder can make them a tad wide, round count isnt an issue since i carry a few guns that hold 6 or 7.
Ive never even shot a revolver so that may be a big reason also.
I do know a .357 is better than most any semi auto round out there except the 10mm.
Ill give them a better look next time im at a shop.

go shoot a .44 mag with a 4 or 6 inch barrel. feel the power that comes out of that huge round and see how easy it is to accurately hit your target. Just a suggestion to someone who is a newer gun enthusiast aka gun nut. Might as well experience new stuff.

Personally, i think you're too hung up on caliber for CC. yes, i'd rather have a .44 mag if i have the chance in a gunfight. Having 5 guns to switch out for CC? That sounds silly. Have 2 that you can shoot accurately and be very familiar with their operation. Spend the rest of the money on ammo and a shooting school. I put dirtbags in jail and live in the same area. I've owned everything from a .22 to a .44 mag and thats just in pistols. I like a glock 27 for almost all situations off duty however will carry my .22 mag if i'm not able to carry my glock. I have many different holsters for different styles of carry also. Don't think that i'm trying to tell you what to do, i'm just trying to share some knowledge i've picked up over the years. i spent alot of money of different guns for CC and holsters. If i can save you some money and help, that would be awesome.

Shooting a .44 would be fun,id love to try one some day.Surely ill never carry one tho.
The 5 gun thing may be silly to some,it makes sense to me tho.One reason is i like the ability to carry a back up gun when possible. There are many reasons why its a good idea.
Also i live in Ohio wich has stupid weather from 100F summers too 0F winters and everything in between,so my wardrobe has many styles of clothes. And depending on what im doing that day it makes it easier if you have the perfect gun for that.
There is no 1 gun that does everything well, they all have compromises including caliber and i like to have a carry gun thats most suited for my needs.

Then on the gun owner side i like guns, its just these are aimed at 2 goals.CCW being the first and Range days as the second.
Id say investment as a reason, but i carry and use these so value wont go up,it may stay constant tho and at the worst loose value as wear builds.
I think i have about 8 holsters now, they work well is about all i can say since i don't buy high dollar handmade ones.A good belt is a bigger necessity to me.

Maybe someday ill start showing a pattern of a certain gun that i carry the most and the others just sit, then i may consider thinning the heard but use that money to buy a more quality gun.

i'd say the new springfield EMP, i've heard nothing about awesome things.

1911 design but instead of just rechambering it, they built it from the ground up and it's supposed to be deadly accurate at long distances, especially for a 3"

edit: this coming from a someone who leans towards wheel guns (my carry is a ruger 357 mag)

I have only one issue with the EMP,and trust me ive considered that gun many times. The issue is price,$1k new and $900 used as they hold their value like gold.

I do think a 3" 1911 chambered in anything would be a good gun to fill this spot, especially if its not a .45 that will make me never carry my PT1911 again if its a .45 also.
But i keep ruling it out due to price.

$500-$600 is my range and over that its just no longer worth it to me.

I gotta question...I'm not trying to hate on you or anything, but i'm curious. Are the streets of Ohio really bad enough that you need five automatic pistols to carry? Seems a bit overkill for me. I only know one person that carries, and he's a 50 year old bipolar paranoid "everyones out to get me" kind of person. All he carries is a little .38 Special revolver.

Now, if you live in the middle of the ghetto and need to be armed to the teeth just to go get the mail I can fully understand, but I can't myself justify purchasing even one gun to carry, let alone five. Whats your motivation?

I need 5 for selection only,i could get by on 2 tho.
One reason is im rather new too CCW so i don't know which type of guns i prefer to carry yet,im kinda auditioning guns in a way.I also don't like getting dressed to go out somewhere and have to wear specific clothing and then have no gun or holster that will allow me to take a weapon.
Then there is the part where ive always liked guns since my first one at age 7 which was 32 years ago.
Im also an Obsessive Compulsive when it comes to my hobbies.I get into a hobby fast and learn as much as i can and take that to a point most people would think ive been doing it for 20 years but in reality its like 6 months.I get burnt out fast as ive done about everything that hobby has to offer and move to the next hobby. One example is i put 36,000 miles on 2 motorcycles over 3 years and then sold them and i dont care if i ever ride again at this point, been there done that.
I did find a happy medium where i hope this isn't a "phase" as CCW is a lifetime decision which i do plan to follow threw with.

I talk about 5 ccw guns, with one or a couple .22's and a shotgun for HD and a Rifle for god knows what and i feel ill stop at that point number wise,if i want something new ill have to get rid of something as i have no use for 200 guns.Unlike many gun people who do own hundreds or even thousands of guns and safes full of ammo.

Ohio is bad enough i do need 1 main gun and a back up at any given time.I only carry 2 at a time, never 3.
The other day i had to take my handicapped mother to the DR. and had to stop at a grocery store which wasn't the best area.I handed her my .380 P238 and i went in and shopped with my .45 carried OWB.Having a back up gun could save your life or someone else's.Mines carried on my weak side so if my main gun and right arm are inoperable my bug is ready to go.
Still many people feel thats excessive, many see it just right and some think that when they carry 4 guns they get mad they run out of holsters and pockets for a few more.

I think i look at this pretty much as a normal person does, even tho i did include alot of my mentality and what my personality is like.

I don't think I have either. I was a bit dyslexic however, I meant $398.
