S&W 340PD
Has anyone shot one before? It's made of scandium and weighs 11.5 ounces and shoots .357 mag. I really like them, but don't know if i should just get one chambered in .38 instead.
They got great reviews but most said the .357 is wrist-snapping and is too much power. |

If its that light and fires that round I could imagine it would be pretty rough on your hand. But I've never fired one
Around the 1 minute mark. I'm sure you've seen it though if you've done some research already. Aren't there other guns similar chambered in a more reasonable round? I'm pretty sure that non-hammer revolver isn't exclusive to that model |

I'm looking at the M&P 340. An ounce and a half heavier, stainless barrel and cylinder. It's supposed to be a better shooting gun. If i buy it i'll probably end up loading it with .38+P rounds or some low-recoil .357.

I bought the M&P 340. I love it. The Speer defense loads are too much, but the Hornady critical defense are perfect in .357
It's not as bad as everyone says, as long as you pick the right ammo. .357 target loads are no problem |
