PREFACE
i ordered the A630 below with Cingular on October 20th

I expected to wait a month for it.
But not TWO months

Tmobile has since launched the A630 and I am waiting on Cingular to launch this phone.
This gives me a window to seriously consider a new phone.

In the last picture on the right, and below
is the TMOBILE version- i dont like the color scheme as much.
But I could get it today (for a lesser rebate).





Amazon.com has the Sidekick II for -50.01 after rebates








Sidekick complaints
The phone is bulky
The rotate-screen is IMHO tacky
There is no Bluetooth (I already have a BT250 Jabra headset)
I look stupid talking on the phone w/ the screen and scroll wheel on my face

+ HTTP websites
+ Mature software
+ Available now
+ Available for less money


A630 complaints
No HTTP without *possible* Java program (h4x)
No corporate email
Uses older Motorola software- nowhere near a Smart phone

+ Small, sharp, great functionatlity & aesthetics both the closed and flip-open mode
+ MP3's
+ Speakerphone auto w/ flip open
+ Bluetooth, headset&sync
