Captain Obvious says: Young people are trendwhores
After looking at all the recent prom pics and since I work in a billion high schools and have a lot of college aged friends (I'm 25 before you go calling me some old fuck) I think that the trendwhoring has actually gotten worse since I was in school. Everyone looks like they just spent all week closely watching E! television and MTV so they could properly mimic the fluffy bubblegum
 garbage flavor of the month trends from our throw away culture. Hollywood, MTV, mainstream (and sadly most out of the mainstream) music, and television in general is wasting your brain. I thought over time people would realize this and youth culture would gravitate away from it but it seems like its actually gotten much worse.
