Regexes are amazing

Now that I know them, I love and adore them instead of fear them!

I get gems like:

if (!isbn.matches("\\A\\p{Digit}{9}[\\p{Digit}[X]]\\z")) {
   return false;
}

Strange creatures, these regexes.
