is anybody bothering with moox's install instructions? i'd rather not go through that whole backup profile stuff and deleting a dozen things everytime i'm installing an update. i just unzip it into the current firefox directory and it hasn't failed me yet

I don't use Moox builds myself, but it's suggested you do the same for the official builds as well.

I just backup the entire profile directory (bookmarks are backed-up daily). I don't bother to uninstall the old version first, I just install right over it. If by some chance it doesn't work (that has't happened yet), I have my entire profile backed-up anyway,

I did that at first, and it worked perfectly, until I started screwing around with adblock. Some filters I put in wouldn't actually get removed when I deleted them. Most of them would if I remade the filter and deleted it again, one (Sanjay's avatard IIRC) wouldn't do that even.

Not that it was that huge of a deal, but I decided to do it again the right way before something more serious happened.

i never use mooxs install instructions. i just delete everything in my firefox install dir except the plugins folder, and then copy all the new files over.

eco My career as a manwhore has failed due to my enlarging anus. This has forced me to to forge barcodes	i never use mooxs install instructions. i just delete everything in my firefox install dir except the plugins folder, and then copy all the new files over.
