Best text font/size/color/effect to use for standard group pic

Getting ready to print out 5x7 photos of a group picture.

Trying to add the theme title on the photo and so could you recommend a well-used font, size, color, and effect to use for the texts?

BTW, what is the recommended size (currently 1600x1200) for a 5x7 print? 4x6? I don't want the sides or the top/bottom to get cut out after the prints.
