Has genmay really changed that much?

Well, recently I have seen a rash of people saying how great the old genmay was and how it has changed...but, is it really that different?

I took 3 threads that I created from way back in the day, (July 02 (my first thread) June 03, and December 03)and recreated them to see what the difference in responses would be. I present the following so that you will be able to make your own decision of wether old genmay was better than the current, basing your evidence on more than just your memory, seeing as that often people want to and do remember the good moreso than the bad

One thing I did notice is that all of my newer threads had more responses (''Bug'' old: 23 new: 52 ''Friends'' old: 31 new: 37 ''Failed'' old: 15 new: 36)..

i think a lot has to do with such a huge growth in such a short time. besides the intial rush of people after the closing of [h] there was a slow growth, then all the sudden 10ks where here and we were like ''whoa wtf!'' then i leave for a few months and we had 27ks, now we're at what 34, 35ks?
