well duh, they're not 2 seperate games...CoV is more of an expansion to CoH as it adds on to the universe. This tells us nothing that we shouldn't have already guessed. I'm going to say that CoV will either be a full $50 as apparently they're trying to push it as a stand alone game, where as normal expansions are ~ $30. Its just a marketing ploy to try to squeeze some more money out of it.

they'er seperate games in seperate realms.
iirc the dev's said on some occasions they will allow the two games to intermingle, but will remain seperate most of the time. thus killing the coolness of the game.

Really, they should have freaking had a pvp server put up and let heroes/villans fight each other.
Seems plain stupid to me to have "villians" and "heroes" and then them simply not fighting most of the time.. |

I haven't been following this at all but I thought that was the main call for CoV/CoH? One side has heroes and the other have villance and they like... fight. |

For people who own both CoH and CoV, there will be four interweaved zones where it is open-PvP (very akin to DAOCs frontier). Additionally, those people will be able to build superbases/lairs and obatin Items of Power which grant benefits while owned. However, own a IoP, and you open yourself up to be raided by other groups attempting to steal it.
Servers are shared, as are the characters lots (12) on each server. So you can create not only a hero, but also his arch nemesis and play it from time to time. |

Stay as far away as you can. Errr play for 5 months, get a 50 then quit before they start bring out the nerf cannons.
