Well, I finally got around to trying a Punch, but it was out of the humidor for a few days. I lit up and it was hot harsh and wouldn’t keep lit. After about an inch or two of it the Punch Elite calmed down and I could finally smoke it, the center must of retained moisture better. It wasn’t bad when I got to that point, and what looks like a littler cigar actually makes for a pretty long smoke. Guess I’ll have to revisit this smoke next time. Origin: Honduras Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatran Filler: DR/Hon/Nic Binder: Connecticut Ring/Length: 45/5.25 Burn: 7 -- Once I got in a few inches the burn wasn’t bad, even and stayed lit pretty well. Draw: 8.5 – after I reached that point the draw was great, big cloud of smoke. Appearance: 8 – everything looked ship shape, well wrapped, and a nice consistent color in the foot. Taste: 6 – nothing special, kind of a mild taste, contrasting the coffee I had with it. Construction: 7 – The cap split while I was cutting it, probably due to the dryness of being out of the humidor. Price: $2.85 Avg.: 5 – the experience was horrible and I’m going to get this again soon to try it fresh from a humidor. Man, we really need to get a humidor.   10-31-05 astral cameroon beso revisited this cigar fresh from the humidor this time, and the difference was only minimally better. Again, I like this cigar, something I’ll say is wheaty, and it burns well, burns cool and long and well, it’s a real good cigar. Ah and I got the wrapper from it this time.
