Thinsulate vs. Thermolite

I figure this is the best forum for this question since it is about hunting boots.

I just bought a pair of Irish Setter Deer Trackers with 1200 grams of Thermolite. I didn't notice that it was Thermolite and not Thinsulate before I bought them. They are warm but I have not tried them in the woods, not till next weekend.

So basically my question is, is Thermolite and Thinsulate about the same? So 1200 of one is as good as 1200 of another? I got the boots for $140 and they are also Gore-Tex.

Thanks for any feedback.
