Anchorage, Alaska - One of the hottest gifts this season is the X-Box 360, but some Anchorage residents that waited all night and were lucky enough to get one this morning got the scare of a lifetime when they were robbed at gunpoint for the game consoles. The Anchorage Police Department says at about 8 a.m. Sunday after buying six of the X-Boxes at the Best Buy on Dimond Boulevard, an unidentified group of individuals went to an area McDonald's. A 14-year-old member of the group stayed in a van they were driving, while the others went inside to eat. Then the van was approached by two men with guns who took four of the game consoles. is it just me or is this absurd? all this could be avoided if.... console makers actually make enough consoles at launch so people dont go crazy trying to get them.... although im sure microsoft just loves the publicity...people willing to kill over their console.
