So im sitting here waiting to check out lights and im bored so i decided I would upload a quick portrait i did as part of an assignment. Not the best quality, but I just had to demonstrate i can take a low key picture.

Nice work, I dunno if I like the framing for the pose, but I like it.

I shot this with White Lighting 1600 strobes. I had a large softbox about the direction he is looking. Umbrella for fill at the camera at about 2 stops less then the main light, and i had just a barebulb and reflector for the background.

There are lots of things that dont work with this image though, the catch lights are crappy, his eyes are closed a hair, and what it REALLY needs is a hair light coming from the back left. I guess tommorow Ill post the high key and regular key versions from the same light placement.
