Pics from my trip around Okinawa today.

I live on Kadena Airbase, and am in the US air force. We are located on the island of Okinawa, Japan. The island has alot to offer from beautiful sandy beaches, sparkling blue water and coral reef, resorts, the worlds second largest aquarium, a host of several large and diverse cities, beautiful scenery, scuba diving, and just about everything a subtropical island can offer. Here are some of the pictures i took on a road trip a friend and i took around the island today. We pretty much covered the entire outer perimeter today. Later on throughout my tour here, i plan to travel to many many places, and stop along the way to see some of the sights we could only glance at as we drove by. I enjoy it here, and look forward to the next two years of my assignment. Here is the link to the photos. I hope you enjoy! Post comments here.

i've heard from seven people of an old lady who performs a show chopping bananas into slices with her gine and has you eat them. Cool pictures, it doesnt look like theres that much stuff to photograph though

There is plenty to photograph, but we were on the road most of the day just scoping out the island. It took us 6 hours to travel 120 miles. There's plenty to see, especially down in Naha. I just wanted to see what else there was. There's more to this island than meets the eye.
