Still haven't started that paper..... grabbed the 50 f/1.8 when I noticed amazing light coming in the living room. Only thing around was my sister's cat, and this is what I ended up with...

the cats expression is insane-o

I think the blowout is complementry to the composition so I wouldn't really worry about it. Don't let the "because of that slight overexposure, the picture is crap" people influence you.

Damnit, enfarcer...you remeinder me of that f-ed up video of two messicans buring a cat alive in a cage...they may have been chinese or japanese..but that's not the point... GROSS...no kill kitteh.

I like how much detail the B&W pictures at the top have..I have so much trouble getting detail out of my pictures... My range of acceptable focus is usually quite shallow too....uggghh. Kudos btw the look pretty darn good.
