Decent camera shop in san francisco or vegas?

Im off on holiday from the uk at the end of the month so i'm looking to pick up a new camera to replace the fuji f810 thats started to fuck up and the shop want nearly $300 to fix.
Has anyone got any suggestions where to buy? preferably in San Francisco.

Looking at getting canon powershot s80 or similar(any suggestions?) not looking for dslrs as too big, need a compact with rechargable battery.

Also wheres a good place to buy a new memory card to suit? frys i have read about somewhere?

I am quite familiar with the camera shops in Vegas. Basically, you've got B&C Camera on one side of town and Casey's Camera on the other. I prefer Casey's because it is bigger and has a larger selection, even if I did have to drive twice as far for it. Also, the prices are somewhat better but both are overpriced usually, especially with lenses because they deal in such small volume.

However, since you are just wanting a simple Canon, you could pick it up pretty much anywhere. I actually got my 350D at Fry's. Best Buy or any electronics store should be able to meet your needs.

Whenever I've bought anything at Ritz, I've had to pay full retail.

I'm not sure if there's one near SF, but Samy's Camera is based in California, and they're quite nice to work with.

QFT that is pretty much the best store. Calumet in San Francisco is pretty good as well.
