OCD ftl last night :(

So last night i was out with my friends pregaming for the nights activities. Mind you this coming week I have a metric ton of homework due thats in the form of presentations and many paged papers, so I think its fair to say im a little stressed. Now I am not completely insane don’t step on cracks in sidewalks OCD like in the movie As Good As It Gets but I do have my ticks and stress does make it apparent. So we are all having fun and about to leave for this kegger and then bam OCD just takes over, my personality completely shuts down and I become very irritable. I just decide to take my ass home before I weird out my friends and once im home I then proceed to start and finish a 25 page paper and pass out at 3 in the morning. UG! Shitty no fun Saturday night for me.

anyone else OCD?

My brain was just compusivly thinking about doing that paper, its not due till the end of the week. That was ALL that was going through my head over and over, a hot girl could come up to me and make out with me and i would still be thinking about writing that paper. I decieded to go home after one of my friends mentioned that i was acting a little out of it.

Its more of being mentaly obsessive and compulsive for me.

edit: i dont open and close doors or wash my hands millions of times, i just have thoughts that will run through my mind over and over and over and over again which pretty much zombifies me until i actualy act out that thought.

it usualy isnt, it just was for last night, sometimes it will be song lyrics, a quote, something that just turns my brain into a broken record.

That doesn't really sound like OCD to me. Doesn't really fit the definition. More like just being really anxious about a paper.

Obsessive thought loops are most certainly one of the many expressions of OCD.

Try OCP - obsessive compulsive personality. If you were OCD, it would be interfering with your normal life, such as washing your hands 100 times a day.

i usually do that with papers and stuff too, for example over breaks and weekends i always do work first so i'm not worrying about it. i wouldnt call it ocd though, i'm just a nerd
