The Thief and the Cobbler(recobbled cut) - The movie you should be watching.

This thread probably won't go over well. I tried to cut down on the teal deer aspect. Anyways, just trying to inform people since everyone needs to see it.

The Thief and the Cobbler (Recobbled Cut) is Garrett Gilchrist's restoration of Richard William's animation masterpiece. Who is Richard Williams I hear you say? He worked on the animation on films such as, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Raggedy Ann and Andy, and A Christmas Carol. He also trained some of the the best animators at Disney.

It's a movie that was in production for 27 years, until it was taken by the completion bond company and then completely destroyed and made into the motion pictures Arabian Knight and Princess and the Cobbler by Disney (DON'T WATCH THESE VERSIONS THEY SUCK) . Characters that were never supposed to talk were given voices, entire plo.tlines were dropped, and existing plo.tlines were edited to the point of not making sense. As well as, having plo.t, characters, and shots stolen to create the Disney film Aladdin. Luckily it had been restored, using sources such as workprints and footage from the dvd's of the horrible versions.

This movie is one of the best animated movies ever created. There are parts that will blow your mind and make you want your mommy because they are so fucking good.


SO WHERE CAN I GET THIS MOVIE?!?! Well I technically it is warez I suppose, but how else are you suppose to see a restoration by a 3rd party? So fuck it, you can acquire it from torrent, mexico -- usenet, mexico -- youtube, lowresolutionmexico -- don't forget your passport.

Yeah I'll bump this later in the day if it goes down to far. Wasn't smart to post a semi-content thread during the slow hours.

Maybe I can tempt people to watch it by saying that Vincent Price and Sean Connery lend their voice talents to the film. Eh .... eh.....e...h? It was worth a shot.
