Help me choose a gimmick (v. College essay)

So, on the 8th I visited the University of Pittsburgh.

I really really liked it and decided, hands-down, this is where I want to go. Sat through all the financial aid

, and put in my application (fee was waived for the visitation day). Anyways, I sort of figured I could use some help getting in, so I decided that I would write a personal essay along with my letters of recommendation.

So, they give some ideas for the essay:

A. Write about something of particular interest to you - whether that be creative, fantastic, scientific, ethical, personal, political, etc.

C. Imagine you're on the admissions or scholarship committees. Tell us something about yourslef that isn't apparent from your academic records - something that will give us insight about you as an individual and might help in the committee's decision.

But I figured I would come up with some gimmick for the essay. My sister and I brainstormed over soem 3B's ice cream last night, and I thought, why not reference song lyrics throughout my essay. But make it funny.

ex. "I was an American girl, raised on promises." (I'm a dude...)

Maybe not the funniest, but you get the idea, right?

Anyways, hit me with some ideas...and no I won't fall asleep in a plastic bag.

Take option C and say how you're a pedophile, but not a pedophile in the sense that you are a child molestor, but in the sense that you love all children like Michael Jackson does and try to make the world a better place for them.

I had a teacher once who wanted us to plan out a terrorist attack to get into the minds of how they think

It was his last year there
But he still got yelled at...there were some prissy girls in there who were obviously dumb
