Bought something for myself I've always wanted (G3 clone)

Bought something for myself this Xmas that I've always wanted. I've been in the market for a .308 Win battle rifle for a while and looked at many FALs/G3s. I finally decided on the PTR-91R, made by JLD Enterprises.

I'm thinking about getting the fully collapsible stock shown on the KPF model. Can't wait to take this gun out in the woods! (If you are wondering, the sling is off a standard piece of luggage . Hey, it works.)

Anybody get any new guns this Xmas?

I went shooting yesterday and this gun is AMAZING. Holy shit the first thing I did when I got home was search for surplus ammo on the net (with not much luck, all sold out ). Does anybody know of any sites with bulk .308 fmj in stock?

There used to be South African Surplus .308 all over, and it was dirt cheap too...I managed to buy around 1000 rounds of it before it dried up.

I'm glad you didn't buy a POS Century, and went for a good one.

I'll be getting my Christmas rifle in a few days...will post back here when it's in my possession...
