PSP2 with 60gb hdd? (rumour)

Hard to imagine, but it's been over two years since Sony unleashed the PSP (at least in Japan), so it stands to reason that we're due for a little upgrade, right? Well, it's difficult to tell precisely what's going on due to the machine translation, but Samsung introduced its new N-Series line of 1.8-inch hard drives today and there's some indication that a 60GB version of the drive may end up in a future PSP. With any luck we may see a proper announcement at CES next month -- we definitely would not kick a 60GB PSP out of bed -- but for right now we're just trying to figure out exactly what Samsung announced today.

lets hope so while i doubt it will have a 60gb..i mean it could be just an example of how large it could be. They could just stick a 20gb and ppl will still be happy about it. If it does come true and is 60gb..kinda sad that its more than my 360 has

Theyre thinking of releasing a psp 2 already? I didn't think the original sold that well against nintendo's handhelds.

I'd rather they go with a flash drive than a HDD, being that I don't want something spinning in a portable device. But this is something hopefully to look out for.

my first thought was how many ipods are f-ed up due to hard drive problems. If that system wants any hope they stick with a flash drive. I mean 4 gb is probably enough for a portable.

Psh, you know that the PSP can play ANY PS game now? 4 GB is nowhere near enough! ( I say this as I just got home from Fry's and bought a 4GB stick )

what would be the point? the regular psp can get like ... 4gigs through a memory stick?
Ive also seen things that go on the back that hold like 10+gigs..

faster load times might be nice... but for what?
theres like ZERO titles out for it, its only really good at playing movies/mp3s and posibly playing roms if youre lucky to have the correct firmware/mobo and have the paitence to load everything up corectly
Im just upset that they let it tank like it did.. Im not sure about the numbers and what not... but I cant imagine it doing well, how is it posible that sony is even thinking about releasing a second version after the complete failure of the first?
