When people with 10Ds get bored: A case study on cigarettes, noise and bokeh.
1. Yes, they are noisy. It's a 10D. It's old. It's ISO1600. I actually kind of like it like that for these.

Sucks that you have to stipulate that yes, the pictures are noisy.... for some reason people think noise = bad shot...
Nice shots though...the black edges around the fingers in 3 and 4 kinda throw those shots off for me... |

Blotchy chroma noise = bad shot (well... from a technical perspective). Luminance noise isn't a problem. Looks like film grain, and the effect can be quite desirable.
