I unintentional scammed 7-Eleven gas station

So I went to get some items at the local gas station and I sometimes put my bluetooth headset on my lap while driving and not using it.

So when I get out of my car to go inside the store I guess I let the headset drop out into the parking lot. So I go home and figure, meh forget about it, Ill stop by the next day and see if someone turned it in.

So next day I stop to see if someone found it in the Lot. The attendant searched the drawers and pulls it out, I recognize it and say yeah thats it. So I grab it and go back to the car. While driving away I realize that it was set for a left ear not right, then I examine it closer and realize its not mine. It looks just like mine but its not.

Either way, I got a headset back. Someone prolly kept my original one.

So I guess If you randomly ask a gas station attendant for headsets, they give them out, LOL. Why dont someone go try it.
