How do you go about randomly introducing yourself or trying to get to know them? I've got a few girls I'd like to try this out with here on campus, but I always felt like random introductions or sometimes just smiling in a semi-apparent way to say you think they're cute are just kind of creepy, and I feel like I'm waiting on some golden opportunity to do this. I need some self-esteem and some strategy here :P What have you guys done in the past that's worked for you?

Well, try to get in the same situation as them, IE if they are waiting in line at the post office, and so are you strike up a conversation about how shitty the post office is or something, just small talk, and if they are reacting well then when it is time to go, just ask for their number. I have done this before, worked fairly well.

I'm more basing this along chance though, because I don't know anything about some of them, haha. therefore i don't really have a place to run into them "accidentally."

How do you talk to random chicks in college classes? Cuz you can only talk to them when everyone get up and leave the class. Especially small classes.

It's easy if you see them around campus, just be like "oh hey you're in my whatever class. did you do that homework?" and take it from there and be like "Oh yeah how did you do on it?" they should respond and say something along the lines of asking if they'd want to work on it with you sometime.

Easy for me to say, eh?

I usually ask where they're living/where they're originally from.

Not true. If you walk up to a girl and introduce yourself, she knows that your hitting on her and puts up her defenses. Your advice works fine on average girls, not hot ones though (unless your relatively better looking than they are, and your physical attractiveness is enough reason for her to want to talk to you.)

Do what ever you're mor comfrontable with, they'll be able to smell a fake and you won't be doing yourself a favor. Take rejection well and tell yourself you are introducing yourself so they can let you know if THEY are worth your time.

I did good with approaching them, giving a smile and a hey, wait for response, say im looking for a friends lost dog/cat/watch and if they've seen it, then just change the subject and roll with it.

In that case, the only reason not to go up and say hello to them is that they might shriek and mace you, or immediately tell you to go away and bruise your ego. Neither of these scenarios is really that likely if you A. don't look like an ogre, and B. don't open with "You look tasty."

You almost have to try, or be completely inept to outright fail immediately. Once you get your shoe in the door, it's generally like talking to a dude, except it's usually not about cars, guns and "good times."

Edit: It should be noted, though, that the relative socialness of the situation will determine how receptive the target woman is. At a party, a bar, in a university class, they will probably be reasonably receptive. In the parking lot of her OBGYN's office, probably not so much.

It's not hard to get a girl--you have to have first some confidence in yourself. But this comes with practice.

In my classes I will decide on which girl most deserves my attention. I then tell myself that I will get her. In my english classes, the best line to open up conversation with a girl is to compliment something she said or wrote. Quickly follow through with the conversation and show your keen interest. Get her name. Introduce yourself. Continue the conversation when class is over. Talk about stuff. As you keep walking and talking, the conversation will carry on to different things. If you're walking in the same direction going to the same general place you will have better results. Once you part, you've established a nice foundation with a girl and can continue from there. Or if the time of day is appropriate, ask her if she wants to get coffee or lunch. If she's really receptive at this point, she'll probably say yes.

Need I say more? Learn to identify the situation and work with it. You WILL get exactly what you want if you play it right.

Just two weeks ago I did this exact thing with the hottest girl in my class--and on that same day she told me she had a crush on me. I had the cat in the fucking bag. Of course, she was a total psychopath I eventually found out, but still.

it seems like most of the hot ones are, huh?

I guess from there it's trying to keep the conversation lively enough. It's hard coming up with random subjects sometimes. I'm not the most pop-culture aware person, so it's harder for me to talk about like TV shows or things like that that are generally easy topics. I dunno. I just have to wait to come across one of them again and see what the situation can accomplish for me.
