I have a question about the herbalife weight loss stuff...

I'm currently planning to get into a diet. I'm going to the gym 3 times a week. Now, since being on a diet, eating is a pretty important to do, but I can't prepare myself 6 meals a day since I'm out of the house most of the time. I don't like eating vegetables and don't take vitamins. Then I need to substitute some meals. Then, a friend of mine is all into the Herbalife stuff and was telling me about how I can substitute some meals with herbalife. Basically, he's was telling me on what he recommended for me to drop the weight. Which was a meal replacement shake, some pills to cleanse out your system, multivitamins, protein bars (as a snack) and some other stuff. He's not the type of person who's going to cheat me out or anything. If I want the basics it will cost which is the Shake, multivitamins, and the cleaning system and another pill which is about $160.00 now If I wanted to add in some more shit that he recommended because I don't eat vegetables and some more stuff it ending up being a whooping $260 for the stuff which is only going to last me about a month. I would try to get on more info on what he's recommending me once I receive his e-mail. Now, I'm been hearing a lot of stuff on how Herbalife is a scam and that all their shit hasn't been scientifically proven, and not endorsed by the FDA and some other mambo jumbo. So does the whole herbalife thing work?

Or should I get some kind of meal plan sorta like a jenny craig or a nutrisystem which is food but, most of it is easy to prepare and don't have to worry about not being healthy.

My main problem in my diet is food and I don't have the time or knowledge to cook.

Gimmick.

If you want to lose weight, eat natural whole foods. You don't need to know how to cook.

Excuse my ignorance, where would I be able to get information on natural whole foods. Since, I really don't know what's "considered" whole foods.

Is there a reason why it's a gimmick?

The people who run herbalife, also run these companies:

Home Business System International
Austin Alliance (Texas, USA)
Newest Way to Wealth
Global Online Systems (Canada)
Globalnet Marketing Solutions
Online Business Systems
Vertical Skip Marketing
Average To Fortune
WorkFromHome System
International Income Systems
AES International
Dare to Succeed
A.D.D.S. (Automated [Systems] Direct [Marketing] Data[base Marketing] Systems)

Just search online and you will find out all these comanies are scams in one way or another.

You dont need to eat six times a day to loose weight. Its deffinitly going to help, but probably not as much as eating the right foods will.

i once got tricked into going to one of herbal life's interviews, turns out it is some multi-level marketing scam and they asked me to pay money to buy their shit in a job interview so I gave them a finger and got the fuck out lol

The cleansing is , like all cleansers, the shake is undoubtably something you could make for 1/10th the price at home, and multivitamins and protein bars are available everywhere. Sounds like a waste of money to me.

Shocked to see this line following talk of scientific investigation into health and FDA approval...and not after the list of in this regimen, including a "cleansing system."
