Point and Shoot for the office...
I fell off the wagon after I got my D200 a few months ago and haven't really touched anything since. However, our trusty Sony maverick cd400 broke today at the office. It was the mini cd burning, 4mp, Carl Zeiss lens one. It took great pictures for what they used it for and held up to the shops abuse for 5 years. Other then a canon SD series point and shoot, since I have liked the last 4 I have owned, what do you guys recommend? Its primary uses would be for shots of setting up equipment and small close ups of damaged parts under 1/16th of an inch.
I still have my old D70 and kit lens, but I do not know if I would subject that already abused camera to this environment. For years the old one was just tossed in a tool box full of other tools... (I would make sure that did not happen and this one was treated properly). $200-500 spending limit.

Looking at several cnet reviews...
My best bet is a Canon G7 or SDxxx series. Other then that, you get into DSLR's.
