I had a Matrix/Speed/Phonebooth moment today. (lol words = beware)
I was waiting for the bus to go home after a long day of work and as I was talking to my co-worker while waiting, a payphone starts ringing about 2 ft away from me. So I do what every little kid is told by their overzealous parents to do; and that is answer the phone call from a total stranger. Who knows? I might even get a free candy, phonesechs, or a combination of both. Oh the possibilities!
At this very moment I am reminded of exactly four movies:     (Incase you don't know why Speed is on there, go watch it again.) As I pick up the phone, I expect to either: - Disappear and out of the Matrix like in the movies! - Get shot by a sniper - Play "Simon Says" with good ol' Simon ... but unfortunately I don't live in the movies and to my disappointment the person on the other line hangs up without saying a word. "they" keep doing this about 20 times and the annoying thing was that there were 2 phones facing each other and they kept ringing after another at a disturbingly consistent rhythm, so maybe it was a machine doing it. I figured some jerk was behind the bushes giggling like a retard watching me pick up the phone for the millionth time. So I made a thread about it THANX FOR READING GUYZ A+++ will write again |

you can make the phones do that to themselves, as long as they aren't the new type with the digital display and stuff. dial 570 then the number of the phone itself, then hang up the phone as soon as you hear a tone, then half a second later pick it up, wait another half second and hang it back up again.
I used to do it in school while people were writing tests. Some of those payphones have LOUD ringers!
