Flying with no Photo-ID
A year ago I lost my Utah state drivers license. In order to get a new one, you have to go to a Utah DMV office in person. That is a small problem since I am located in California.
A month ago I started my out-processing for separation from the United States Air Force. When first starting my out-processing, I was given a 90 day ID card, which they took on my final day at the MPF office. I asked if I could keep it, was told that was a no-go. Tomorrow I am flying out of Sacramento Intl to Salt Lake Intl via Southwest Airlines. The problem? I have no photo ID. I have a copy of my orders, both copies of my DD214 (most important document in anyone's military career), my birth cirtificate, my social security card, even a letter stating my Top Secret-TS/SSBI/SCI/TK security clearance. No photo ID...fuck. I've read the "Great No-ID" article thing that you get by googling, but am still hesitant. How fucked am I going to be at the airport tomorrow? I plan on getting there two hours early to be on the safer side. Cliffs: 1. Lost drivers license a year ago 2. Separated from military, took my ID when I got out 3. Flying tomorrow, airport security, etc 4. No photo ID 5. Am I fucked?

All the papers in the world are pretty much meaningless without a photo ID to prove you're the person named on those papers. Why the hell didn't you just get a california license, or at least a state ID?
