Dark Reign(old school!) install on Mac?
Anyone remember the original Dark Reign game? the RTS from 1996(iirc)?
well i still have my disc and im wondering how to install it on my iBook. Apparently it's mac compatible, but i guess you need some kinda wierd install package or some os9 thing goin on to make it work? im lost, maybe some gurus can help me out. I've never gamed on my mac before. I'm not much of a computer-gamer, i mostly just play xbox/ps2 etc. But i do recall how awesome this game was, and i wanna play it again. Seeing as how my xp/vista box is out for the count due to catastrophic hard disk failure, i wanna bust out with this game on my ibook. but .... im fuckin' confused. halp! my book:

After like 2003 I think they stopped shipping w/ OS 9 dual boot so you should be able to open up Classic - basically an emulator of 9 and install/play it that way

i loved the different AI modes... just create a squad and set it to search & destroy mode and bam they'll go off looking for trouble...
i never did get past the single-player campaign mode where the enemy got the swirling vortex weapon... always eat up my defences and waste all my monies
