hehehe, it's a shame I gotta go to work, I watched one uncharted video. Environments could use a bit of work but the character model is flawless.

As incredible as the Uncharted trailer looks, during the on-stage demonstration it looks like the enemy models are going to be repeated. Hopefully they can create a library of "pirate parts" like they have with animations.

Uncharted Drake's fortune looks sweet .

However all the talk about "believable" animations, they really need to work on adapting the animations for elevation changes. When the environment is so un-even as it is having the character constantly moving up/down things and the animation still placing his feet on a flat type of surface takes away that pretty quickly. This is something games have solved init he past before and with all the detail they are putting into making it 'life-like/human" that's one of the main things that popped out at me.

Are the top three pics a pre-rendered cutscene or gameplay? If the gameplay looks like that throughout then I will do more than unbuckle my pants.


edit- surprisingly, the only game that makes me want to buy a PS3 doesn't have anything to do with Final Fantasy, MGS, Gran Turismo or any of the other biggies (I'll get plenty of that sort of thing with X360) but...."Little Big Planet" has potential to be a blockbuster.

the barrel explosion was ugly in uncharted demo , i expected a bit more at this point. i also didn't like that all the characters died in a consistent animation when naughty dog is known for their animation quality.

maybe it was just the build they were using. other than that looks like it will be a fun game

Ok, that makes sense....explains why when I clicked the link some of the other pics didn't look quite as good and jaggies were visible. Still looks like a great game though..
