(the higher res isn't the full presentation, it's only a snippit and parts of the more "cooler" moments).

The way the cover system works is similar to the more recent R6/Gears of war style with a mix of the ability to vault over things (a la Call of duty).

Also the dev's already said thatt he gore system wasn't ready for this (hence why the grenades don't damage the bodies an dsuch) and that the game will have gore even better then the last ones.

The commentary from the guy playing was retarded. You could hear their military rep getting annoyed with him when he'd act like an idiot.

I'm all for showing features of a game in a demo, but you don't have to talk them up like this guy did.

I just say let the game speak for itself and explain the finer points of it and things that people may not understand just by watching. We don't need to be told directly that the game properly shows the shadow of you giving orders...

That being said. Looks pretty good. I'll probably rent it when it comes out. I liked the first one, never played the 2nd.

Actually IIRC when the screen turns red it isn't because he's taking damage, it's because he's being fired upon.

In this game one headshot to you can kill you IIRC. It's going to be similar (damage wise) to operation flashpoint, there's no health kits or such to pick up.

it almost sounds like the same thing since the fade to red is a warning till you're probability of getting shot gets high. i was hoping to see him get shot without that red glow just to show that you can get hit without that red glow being so dark.oh well, hopefully it will work out.
