Photo Frame for hanging/display

I've been searching for a nice frame but came up with nothing that i like...
I like these: http://www.pbase.com/3e1211/image/77047858

they have a thin frame and white background... maybe not in that size.. my prints are 8x10 in. so i need something like 12x14 or something slightly bigger than that... any suggestion?

I'm not too sure but I dont believe frames come with that white background/border. You might just have to buy some sort of poster board material from an art store and cut it out yourself.
I'm sure I'm wrong though. Either way have you tried looking at art stores? Here in my town we have a store that specializes in art and frames. go figure.

So is that guy like the hawaiian jackie chan?

Art stores and frame shops are your best bet. I don't know where your at, but I get a lot of my frames at Aaron Brothers and Michaels. If its a standard size print, you can easily find a frame, and precut mattes to your size (up to 11x14).

To comment on mandobears post...don't buy poserboard, buy matteboard. If you don't have the means to cut it, pay somebody who has the means to cut it.

You get what you pay for...if you do it cheap, it'll look cheap.

Yeah, it's called a photo matte, you can get them, and frames at craft stores like michaels.

Customized frames can start to get expensive. if you want to matte and frame an 8x10, you probably want an 11x14 frame, and can easily find an 11x14 matte board thats already precut for an 8x10 print. Thats pretty standard. If you want bigger...11x14 mattes to a 16x20 with premade frames and precut matte board. Finding bigger than that in precut mattes can be difficult in an artstore from my experience. Bigger than that, i just cut it myself.

I have my walls in my office covered in photos that I've taken of my clients. All 11x14 prints, with a 16x20 frame (and precut matte). Below is what I have...is this pretty much what your looking for...black frame, white matte board? If so...frame and precut mattes were bought at Michaels. I think each frame was about $10, and the precut mattes were like $4.

This what you had in mind? If so...cost $15...if you want 8x10 to 11x14, it should be a few bucks cheaper.
