Employee sent out a nasty email when he quit!
I was at work today when this came out from an employee. They recalled it within 1-2 minutes, but it was forward so much, they couldn't keep up with removing them. Funniest part is, the boss he is talking about, was so livid about the email he went home. And the director of the department started calling meetings with employees within an hour to find out scheduling problems, harassment parts, and the truth of what was going on in the department. It seemed the Boss man wasn't telling everyone the truth. I removed the names. In case your wondering Blue pumpkin is an automated system used to generate schedule. Their department uses it, and from what i hear its terrible.
"I myself too will be leaving....very shortly. Unfortunately, I'm not going with out speaking my mind first. I don't plan on being re-hire able. I would just like to first express that many of my fellow co-workers are probably the only reason I have stayed this long. Many of you have helped me keep my sanity, and sometimes helped me forget we work in a fast-food restaurant. To those who have made this place enjoyable, you know who you are, and you will be missed. Now on to the Juicy stuff... 2 week notices are a PROFESSIONAL courtesy you give your employer. This place in its current form is ANYTHING but professional. Two things can be attributed to this. First, Blue Pumpkin, and second, W***** W*****. From my understanding, we were told and explained that Blue Pumpkin was going to the be best thing for the help desk since....well, ever. But as it turns out, It made this job feel like I'm 16 again working at Jimmy's Soda Shop( as it does for most people I assume ). We are suppose to be in a professional environment, but instead we have our schedules changing weekly, Lunches sometimes daily, and are being told when we can go use the restroom. Professional? I do believe in prison you have to ask to use the restroom as well, correct? It has brought morale down so low, it's a big reason calls are being dropped. People use to actually care about the hold times and getting to that next call. Now you have people baby-sit the phones, cause, what do we care if the next calls drop? Not like I'm going to get invited to lunch with my boss constantly, like some unlucky few. ( more on that later ) Sometimes I have been the only person scheduled to take calls on Saturday and Sunday nights on inventory weekends. ( from staff being laid off not blue pumpkin surprisingly ) I like to take my scheduled break, with 10 calls holding. I slowly watched the calls drop, knowing I wouldn't be the one looking bad. When I worked for J***E***, I use to wait to take my breaks when the call queue was cleared. But if i did that now, I might be out of adherence to much. Sorry. Now the Big Kahuna. You really want to keep people from Leaving? Keep employees staffed? Get rid of the bane of most people's existence. You guessed it!!!! W***** W*****. Now this next part has troubled me. I Wonder if anyone from other groups, or C*** even care what I have to say next. Probably not. This email will probably get deleted or re-called. W***** W***** is constantly asking people to go out to lunch. Now I understand if an employee goes willingly, then theres nothing wrong. I know that. But If my boss asked me FIVE or TEN times to go to lunch within a week or two, I'm probably going to feel pressured to go, maybe even feel HARASSED. He's asked someone to lunch, they didn't respond. So he comes to the office at 9:00 at night to find the employee, and know why he didn't want to go to lunch. THATS NOT NORMAL. Other probably feel It could affect raises, how lenient W**** is with them at work, But I personally would also feel Intimidated to go to C*** about the problem, as most people do. Now I never got asked. I didn't want to. I kept to myself and did my job. I never wore a cute boy scout outfit, why would I be invited? Probably why when I did something out of line, I was immediately reprimanded. While others flew under the radar. And this last part is just a petty whine because I had something thrown away. I don't know how or why HR approved this departments guidelines. W**** can come in and throw other people's belongings away when he feels like it. Oh and he does. On the FIRST DAY I had to come down to this hole, from 7th floor. I used a bowl to make food. I washed the bowl. I set it on the counter to dry. Then I realized it was gone. Stolen ? No I later found out it was thrown away cause it was left on the counter. TO DRY! Peoples plates, dishes, knives, forks get thrown out. OUR STUFF, we paid for. Sometimes people bring items, and others use them because they didn't ask. Then we get punished by having it thrown away, when we didn't leave it out. Thanks. Thats so cool. But, apparently at your house W*****, your the bitch, and the boyfriend must be the brawn. Must be why you do housekeeping work so well. Lastly, just a few generalizations.. You get employee of the month here, you get a sappy email, nothing more. You do something wrong? You get told by 5 people you forgot to put the cover sheet on the TPS reports. W***** also comes off as the person who doesn't even stick up for his employees. J***** J*****, does. And so would T******. I know it sounds political, but I'm just speaking from experience, the short time I worked under J**** on 7th floor. As for T*****, When something goes wrong. He just doesn't want it fixed. He wants to know why it happened, and what we can do to prevent it from happening again, or how to help resolve the calls faster. W***** Doesn't. Let J***** J****** or T***** S****** take over the help desk. Give them a month with it, and I'm sure the numbers would improve drastically, The morale will get boosted greatly, as long as scheduling by blue pumpkin goes away as well. I wouldn't be leaving this company if one of them was my boss. I'M OUT. CLIFFS:: 1.) employee send out angry email. 2.) his boss is so mad he leaves the office 3.) director of department wants to know what boss hasnt been telling them. 4.) boss might be losing job. 5.) Ive never seen such a piss-off employee leave like that. |
