Answer may be obvious....but still need HELP!

I recently bought an older 27" LG lcd-tv for bedroom use...since it is older it doesn't have HDMI and uses a DVI input instead. My problem is that I'm trying to hook it up to a Samsung ATSC tuner so I can get over the air digital/HD...I used a HDMI to DVI cable and get the picture just fine BUT HOW THE HELL DO I GET AUDIO TO THE TV? I've tried the usual red/white audio cables that you would use if using the component cables without luck....am I screwed because the TV only has DVI for digital and the tuner box is made with HDMI in mind which carries both video and audio?

There has to be an option to use RCA or Optical audio from the device to the TV...

Tuner box has optical out...tv has no optical in.

My guess would be you are screwed. HDMI carries both audio and video which is coming from the cable box, so it shuts off all audio ports since HDMI is carrying the audio.

youve got to get a different tuner methinks, one that would supports either using HDMI video with RCA audio, or actually has DVI.

the tuner doesnt have component out?
