I don't remotely disagree. Was a quick edit, just to show family what I got. Also playing with new set of actions that i really like, but am not very efficient on yet. The action sets have great potential...i just have to learn how to use them. Greater Than Gatsby is what its called.

So damn in focus

I haven't whipped my DSLR out in almost a year now. So scary.

I wish i shot with a higher DOF...i was wide open. 2.8 or maybe 1/3 or 2/3 stop closed with my 70-200, and i was damned near in her face and zoomed in.

In hindsight, i wish i closed down a bit and got more of the fur in focus. Shooting that close, with that shallow of a DOF with that much of a zoom, its easy to miss focus as your DOF is only an inch or two, and i'm sure i was swaying that much in a crouched position getting at eye level to photograph this.

Pull it out baby!!! The DSLR that is. I should post my Caddo lake pictures that i took last month. Hopefully that'll inspire you some more.

I've seen this picture only now, and it's really great stuff! Congratulations for it!

Also I have a DSLR, but I have to learn how to use it... I'm a newbie... but I'm waiting for warmer months...

What brand? I started Nikon, flipped over to Canon because I wanted video capability, and now I'm rolling back over to Nikon. They just feel more solid to me.
