man, when i used to steal mustang 5-star wheels, i'd just torch the stud right off. unfortunately, it would scratch the wheel sometimes which would reduce the value.

those studs look recessed though

5 minutes with a bolt and a welder and BAM. Coulda fixed it no problem.

The way I read that thread, a shop did that and the welds kept breaking.
