Thanks for the information! The portholes were on the car when I bought it lol. I wasn't very fond of them but my wife loved them. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Looks like they forgot to drill the portholes all the way through. No wonder it overheated, those things add 12HP a piece... all that extra power has to vent somewhere. Don't forget that next time

Those Legends were great cars; my father had two of them. I miss that generation... everything Acura's put out since those years has been pretty lame.

FWIW, also look at the Mazda Millenia from that same time period... another early-90s Japanese luxury sedan with looks that have aged well.

RUN LIKE HELL.

Huge pain in the ass to work on, in my experience.

Honestly, another Legend would be pretty cool. I've seen them (rarely - but it happens) with low mileage for decent prices before. Well-built cars, for sure.

In the same sort of range, check out a Lexus GS300 of about the same vintage?

The 2.7 coupes were fun but had some issues. I had one and my step dad had one. They are NOT as reliable as every other honda - these were their very early "high performance" v6 designs...

At this point I'm not sure I'd bother with a legend. The GenII 225 horse ones are rare and too much money for what you get imo. The older 160hp 2.7s are simply not a big deal. You'll get spanked by new 4 cyl corolla

Also they overheat and warp their weak-ass heads.
