$2500 for a TDI Jetta like that? What's wrong with it?

the dreaded 'chunk' from #2. the cylinder wall feels smooth though.

i'm going to pull the block and take it to a shop, with 210k on the clock if anything is a little sloppy i'm going to have it sleeved so it's TIGHT for the boost. cheaper to get it sleeved then it is to get first over pistons

bling bling carbon fiber hood

the t-dizzle badge from a euro lupo, it's actually close to the badging I wanted for the car, all I need is the red T for an upgraded turbo

some parts in the trunk

the pretty curbed up enkei wheels on it

newish turbo & under that is a newish clutch package. probably sell both of these to finance a vr6 clutch + vnt17 turbo for even more power

vr6 cluster w/info screen

blown turbo (with replacement as seen above) and the obvious f-ed #2 piston + whatever else is wrong with the bottom end

I was looking at realistically 2k for the drivetrain swap so I think after selling everything I will be able to do the swap for less then half that

ready for paint

test fit after the paint dried- needed some touchup on the side of the hood

driver side door and hatch after paint

ever seen a grown man cry? I went to return the air compressor and when I get back I find this, the roommate tells me a good gust of wind knocked hte mall down

the damage, all of them need to be repainted, i'm going to let them dry and then sand the damage and repaint with a brush

test fitment of the only door that wasn't totally hosed, it still needs some touchup but it still fits right

the aftermath of cleaning and taking the tent down - what the wind didn't finish off that is

all the plastic cleaned out - ready for bedliner & sound deadener

badges from the trunk, they both say 'made in west germany' I found that funny even though it really isn't that odd for when they were made. I'm going to cutoff the diesel part of the large badge and put the tdi undeneath it.

this weekend i'm going going to pickup a windshield, some hardware that has gone 'missing' and a frontend off of a cabby so the body can be complete, also get pretty loaded with some friends

Damn I should have read this thread earlier, that "withholding pictures until you do the dishes" would have been a good idea. 'cause obviously nothing else has worked.

Oh well I won't be here this weekend to smell them either.

I say just go with a better pressure plate and clutch and keep the dual mass flywheel for NVH...I hear soild one piece flywheels from the VR6 transmitt a lot of noise from the engine.

I weeped for the doors as well

Great though

VERY nice sir. I would stick with the diesel rabbit badge. If I could get a TDI GTI I would put that badge on there.

SO. . . . . .I need the front cupholder out of a MK4 jetta. That one still work?

/me has money.
