swapped throttle bodies because I was having idle issues after I did some unnecessary revving. Only really needed an idle air control valve, but swapping on a complete throttle body is a lot faster and easier. Solved my problem completely.

I swear I saw some kind of article on the nets a while back, something about the old Mister2's being not for noobtastic drivers or tooner boys because of the tail happy handling with the engine in back..

"Snap oversteer"

91 and 92 cars are much more susceptible to it, 93-on had some changes made to suspension geometry that made them less so

People do say though, that this twitchiness in the earlier cars makes them superior for track/autoX

I oversteered my original 93 while getting a little too giggity on a windy one-lane at my community college, but I regained control. still scared the shit out of me.

have not had any loss of control in this one, but I also have not whipped it around or done any serious drives in it (beyond just like... random freeway blasting etc)

regular car reviews kind of explaining it:

new transmission is good, but now drivers side axle shaft is FUBAR, and axle seal is dead (probably should have seen that coming tbh)

RIP MR2 (not RIP ghetto, not yet anyway)
