Night, the book, 5 paragraph essay

Yea so in my English class, we read Night and tommorow, I have my English final. In 2 hours, 15 minutes, we have to take a 70 question grammar test and write a 5 paragraph essay. we were given 3 topics, and in class, we will be given one to write. We can have 1 full front page for an outline for each topic, I DID read the book, but I'm just exhausted from studying for like 7 hours for my math final, so I ask of you all to help me write an outline for each of these topics:

1. Analyze the concept of "loss" in Night, by Elie Wiesel. How is the novel essentially about loss? A strong essay will provide at least two ways this novel is about loss. Provide specific examples from the text to prove your point and tell me how those examples support your thesis.

2. Discuss Elie's journey in Night by Elie Wiesel. How does Elie's experience permanently change him? A strong essay will discuss Elie's character traits before he is sent to the camps, detail some transforming experiences, and finally examine Elie's character as his journy comes to an end. Provide specifc examples from the text to prove your point and tell me how those examples support your thesis.

3. Based on your reading of Night by Elie Wiesel, detail how the death-camp experience strips all people of their humanity. Provide examples from Elie's experience, as well as those of other characters. A strong essay will provide a cohesive thesis that traces early events to that the final events of the book, as well as discuss both Elie and at least one other character.

for anyone who helps me

1. Um, his family dies.

3. The Nazis throw bread into a crowd of Jews and they fight each other like animals for it until they are both dead. Also, a son betrays his father at one point in the book for some extra food. At the end of the book, Elie is relieved that his father dies because now he doesn't have to worry about him anymore.

the only thing I remember about that book was when he said that he would rather throw himself onto the electric fence then into the firepit.

No, I did not read the book. But I recently (less than two weeks ago), proofread his essay on it.

edit: didn't read the post, but #3 looks pretty easy.

ideas for examples for 3:

it destroys relationships - example is how the sons abandoned/killed father
it reduces humans to basic instincts - killing each other for bread when thrown onto train

I read it 5 years ago, it's actually a really good book. By no means is it easy to read, but it gives some really jaw dropping details.

Go for #1.

He lost:

His family & Hope.

Everything was taken from him, they even tried to take away his heritage and everything that he stood for. They robbed him of his family and seperated them, leaving him with not much to live for.

I don't remember the details of the book, but just along with the theme I just gave. It's easy to BS. Thumb through the book to get some details to add.
