So I am busy working on my awesome loft bed, and I am in the process of staining parts of it. Check out their beautiful color! One more coat and they will be awesome, nice and dark. When I am done with the whole thing i'll post a sweet thread in the new forum.

Yeah basically. The bed is raised up so I can put a couch under it. Unlike most run of the mill lofted beds, this one will hold up a full size matress, non of that childish twin matress shit. You can't get awesomeness like this things going to be at ikea

It will accomodate a full size matress, and will be capable of comfortably supporting two people. As far as engineering capacity, probably 4 or 5.

hmm heres a picture of the mock-up. Nothing was attached together when this picture was taken, and the four 'legs' were just placeholders. The L shaped pieces in the first picture are the legs.
