Cleaning puke off a futon

so my friend had a bit too much fun last night and came back and puked all over our futon. There was a cover on it so that took the brunt of the assault but some of the liquids managed to soak through to the mattress. Its now dryed but smells terrible. Any recommendations on how to clean it or should i just spring for a new one? Thanks for the help.

oh yeah...lesson learned...plastic over over mattress

Simple green does wonders on most stains, but it sounds like you need some specialty cleaning gel.

hrmm back then i remember having this product out of a can, u spray on the affected areas, and let it set for 10 min, or so, it'll foam up and "raise" the stain/smell out, and you jsut wipe it away. of course then itll elave that area clean lookin while the surrounding area looks a tad bit darker.
