Autoupdate trouble? Read below
I was contacted by Kabn that had been having the autoupdate trouble that others have been noticing. I asked him to test something out and it seems to have done the trick for him. It can't hurt to try.

Open up a new tab and goto about:config
In the filter box type greasemonkey
Locate the following two lines, doubleclick on them and change the value to 0:
greasemonkey.scriptvals.genmay.theintarweb.net/Genmay namerape->original.latest_namerapeupdate
greasemonkey.scriptvals.genmay.theintarweb.net/Genmay namerape->original.latest_check

Then refresh a genmay page and see if you get an update notice.

If you're just going to skip through this post atleast read the following line:
This script is NOT perfect, it will ONLY work on FireFox, it does NOT include all rapes (due to the script not running for a long ass time) more are added as they are discovered.

Updates:
- 2005-12-17: Made a few modifications to the autoupdater. I can now display custom messages in the update bar so that I can tell you what's been updated and you can then decide if you want to update or not. You might want to do a manual update to get the latest version as I have a suspicion something got borked in version 9, oops.
- I think I've now fixed it, it should now work "everywhere" and also be able to handle extremely long pages (ie 200PPP).
- The script should now be able to handle long pages. However, as of right now replacing names only works WITHIN threads. I'm working on fixing this.
- The update below is now redundant. The newest version now provides a toggle under Tools->User Script Commands to switch between displaying a users original name or not.
- I added a version that doesn't include the current name of a poster. Grab it here
- The script will now let you know automatically when a new version is available. You'll see a bar at the top of the page similar to the ones seen when a popup is blocked.

Now. What this does is to replace the name of a poster with the first name that was recorded by my namerapetracker based on a user UID. It will also display the current name directly under the original just incase you're more used to the raped name.

First install the Greasemonkey extension by going here:

Next, load this page:
http://genmay.theintarweb.net/grease...lnames.user.js
If Greasemonkey is installed properly it will have a bar at the top letting you know this is a greasemonkey script and asking if you want to install it. Hit the install button and then go back to genmay to test it out.
