Oh god, how do you make yourself burp?!

Every time I drink a specific energy drink, I really need to burp. So much so that I'm hunched over in agony because my stomach hurts so badly... but I don't know how to make myself burp. I can't burp unless it comes up of it's own accord. Now I know better than to drink this energy drink (I've only had a few times, same thing has happened every time, but I didn't realize it until today.) because my stomach hurts SO bad until I can burp. As soon as I burp, I feel perfectly fine, though.

Any tips on how to make myself burp?

Close your mouth then use the muscles in your throat (that's what it feels like anyway) to flex/push some air and it allows me to burp on demand. Hard to explain.
