Paint in every crevasse (aargh! pics)

So as I was turning onto my street here enjoying the weather with the top down, some lady lost her load of paint cans then they bounced and went all over

She is going hysterical and shit, but im like calm down and give me your insurance info while I call the cops. Shes crying all over, and shit just going on and on about how sorry she is. Her daughter is freaking out to (she's 11) since she was the one loading it in the back.

So I called the cops and they show up. Of course the cop is a total dick from the get go. He says there is no accident and why did I call the cops.

I say "well it's obvious there is an accident, I have paint all over my car"

He replies "well an accident is when another car hits you, this is not that and she (the lady) does not need to do anything or give you her card"

I call him on his bs and say "it's failure to secure a load resulting in damage to property" He yells "YOU THINK YOUR A COP OR SOMTHNG NOW????" I say "no, I'm a victim of a traffic accident", and he says "I get to determine what happened here!".

Good thing is his small 4'9" lady cop who's the Sargent on duty showed up and was listening to this exchange. She takes him over and he comes back and apologizes for being crass with me

Anyways, I'm going to get it detailed tomorrow and then see what does not come off and needs to be painted or replaced. The paint should come off all the exterior, but the top and interior has me a bit worried.

What a mess, was it oil based paint or water based? if it was water I would've just hosed it down as soon as possible.

It's acrylic paint, so it's water based. I'm going to a detail guy in the AM. In the mean time it's soaking under moist towels in the garage.
