Gunsmith, repair parts: F.I.E. Revolver.

I am trying to repair a gun.
It doesn't always fire.
The firing pin looks bad worn.
I want a new firing pin.

It is a marked Mod E15 -cal. .22 LR
F.I.E. Miami FL

I found this page, part #38:
http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=9088

I know it is a cheap gun. I just need to find a new firing pin or have one made.
Suggestions?

IMO it would be worth it to take it to a local gunsmith and see what they think. Ask them their bench fee, its probably around $40/hour and ask him how much it would be to diagnose/repair the part.

The part may not be that hard to take out. Sort of looks like that single roll pin #41.
It could be any of those 3 parts in that assembly, so if you are going to repair it yourself, buy all 3 parts, 38-40. But the firing pin and spring are sold out

And if you do it yourself, and that is a roll pin, do yourself a favor and get roll pin punches! They are a great improvement over standard punch pins
